July Playlist- I LoVermont in the Summer

My husband and I live on an organic vegetable and berry farm nestled next to the CT river.
It's a beautiful, peaceful place.
These are the songs we can't stop listening to while we're
shelling peas or making strawberry crisp.
Some songs are definitely familiar to all of us, but I thought
I'd make my July playlist authentic to what's playing in our house.
Bow Thayer and the Benders are VT musicians and
everyone else is on the same wavelength.
So open up a beer, eat some organic produce and
listen to the smooth sounds sent with love from VT.

Supernova Liz Phair
Interstate Love Song Stone Temple Pilots
Electric Rodeo Shooter Jennings (Waylon Jennings son)
Sugar White Stripes
Jesus, Etc.  Wilco
The Man in Me Bob Dylan
Stole My Tools The Benders
Muswell Hillbilly    The Kinks
Cold& Tired The Benders
The Galway Girl Steve Earle
(Nothing But) Flowers Talking Heads or Guster (iTunes wouldn't let me burn Guster for more than a few CDs)
44 Gun The Benders
You and Everybody Else Bow Thayer
Feel Alright Steve Earle (version from the Wire)
Sky Blue Sky Wilco
Last Kiss Pearl Jam (live version from Japan)
Wave of Mutilation Grant-Lee Phillips

Last Kiss brings back a "traumatic childhood experience"- No, not a car accident...Worse...when I sat on my older sister's brand new copy of Last Kiss by Wednesday. Let's just say "several decades" have passed and she still hasn't totally forgiven me- LOL! Thanks for the mix!

if you kept one of your own CDs with the Guster track on it you can rip the track as an MP3 file instead of the iTunes-protected M4P format. Once you have an MP3 version you can replace the protected version in your playlist and burn to your heart's content.
